SACCOS Loan Journey

From SCCULT Membership to Loan Financing

A structured journey that enables a SACCOS to join SCCULT, build its Share and Saving position, reach the required one-third savings threshold, and proceed through loan assessment and financing.

01
Membership

Join SCCULT

The SACCOS begins by becoming a member of SCCULT and establishing its formal relationship with the Union.

02
Capital Base

Build Share & Saving

The SACCOS contributes its Share and builds Saving through disciplined participation and continued financial activity.

03
Readiness

Reach the 1/3 Savings Threshold

Once the SACCOS reaches the required one-third level of its Saving position, it becomes ready to proceed with a loan request.

04
Application

Submit Loan Request

The SACCOS submits its loan request together with the required information and supporting documents for assessment.

05
Assessment

Loan Analysis

The request goes through financial and institutional analysis to determine readiness, repayment capacity, and the appropriate financing decision.

06
Financing

Approval & Disbursement

After successful assessment and approval, the facility proceeds to loan processing and disbursement to the SACCOS.

Structured access to financing

Membership, Share and Saving build-up, the 1/3 savings threshold, application, analysis, approval and disbursement form a clear financing pathway for eligible SACCOS.
