  1. Digital Financing Officer
    Responsible to the Executive Secretary for the execution of all
    matters related to ICT of SCCULT (1992) Ltd and its members.
    MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    a) Advice on technical implementation of digital finance
    projects, which involves provider selection and contract
    management, implementation, maintenance,
    troubleshooting, training, risk mitigation measure, etc.
    b) Provide technical advice to SACCOS on the architecture
    and environment of ICT operations and Digital solution.
    c) Conduct ICT needs assessment for SACCOS (power
    supply, internet connectivity, hardware, infrastructure,
    hosting, software, applications, etc.)
    d) Development of relevant documents in the scope of ICT
    projects, such as terms of reference, contracts, service legal
    agreements, business requirements definition, etc.
    e) Supports in negotiation of contracts with ICT service
    providers and other relevant business partners.
    f) Advice SACCOS in different matters related to ICT.
    g) Advice SACCOS on the usage of digital finance products
    and services to increase the usage of digital finance
    channels and to improve the user friendliness of products.
    h) Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the
    Executive Secretary

2. Accountant

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDING PERSONAL QUALITIES
a) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
b) More education or experience may be preferred.
c) Professional qualification will be added advantage.
d) Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
e) Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial
processes.
f) Ethical behavior.
g) Attention to detail.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
a) Complying with all SCCULT (1992) Ltd, Cooperative, and
National and International accounting and financial regulations
and standards.
b) Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
c) Creating periodic reports in time, monthly, quarterly and
annually.
d) Maintaining accurate financial records.
e) Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance
and accounting.
f) Assisting management in the decision-making process by
preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
g) Analyzing business plans/strategic plan implementation.
h) Financial forecasting and risk analysis
i) Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
j) Ensure accurate maintenance of Union’s General
Ledgers
k) Posting and maintenance of shares register and reconcile
shares register with the General Ledger control account
l) Ensure Bank reconciliation for Union main shares and bank
reconciliation for all branches
m) Maintain fixed assets register and reconcile to General Ledger
control account
n) Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the
Supervisor.
