Dr. Cuthbert Amos Msuya

Engineer Dr. Cuthbert Amos Msuya the current SCCULT (1992) Ltd Board Chairman is an Academician working with the College of Engineering and Technology, University of Dar es Salaam.
Engineer Dr. Msuya holds a PhD in Engineering Management (2017) and an MSc in Electronics Engineering and Information Technology (2007) both from University of Da es Salaam. A natural-born leader, Engineer Dr. Cuthbert Amos Msuya has served in various other boards and leadership positions in different capacities including the previous SCCULT (1992) Ltd Board.
Currently Dr. Msuya is a member of the University of Dar es Salaam Council for a second consecutive triennium that runs until 2024. He is also serving as a Chairman of Mlimani SACCOS Ltd, the Chairman of the Tanzania Higher Learning Institutions Trade Union (THTU) Mlimani branch, and a member of the THTU Executive Council. Since year 2017, Engineer Dr. Msuya has invested his time in SACCOS leadership and has attended both local and international trainings in the area including ACCOSCA’s Special Capacity Building Training Programs for SCCULT (1992) Board Members that ran from 2018 ~2021.
Out of these trainings, Dr. Msuya has managed to accumulate vast knowledge and experiences in SACCOS leadership that he has continued to put into practice with great results. As a multidisciplinary scholar, Dr. Msuya has researched and published in both hard and soft sciences and contributed to knowledge in the areas of Performance Analysis of IT systems and Modeling of ICT adoption and use for SMEs competitiveness and growth.
Engineer Dr. Cuthbert Amos Msuya believes in Research as a solid way of providing right answers to the problems facing the Cooperative movement in Tanzania.
